We learn much new about magic in Roddenberry Earldom. High Thaumaturgist Viktor will have most information. Most important - we find channels to move through magic wave more fast and we know others can use too. We travel many hours walk in few minutes and many days walk in hour. We come to outpost of Zhaguar Pride and find two of Pathfinders which came on first mission before us. For them, they have be through four years.
Zhaguar Pride agree to allow them to leave if we do two task: find missing Pride scouts and also investigate village which they protect but has not pay tribute.
We meet Links Pride who had priest as prisoner. Priest tell us he follow the Way and had swear oath of non-violence. Links Pride of might and try to provoke him to fight.
We find tower with symbol of Circle what is occupy by golems. They had take missing Pride scouts as prisoner. We make agree to release. Golem is maybe danger, maybe ally.
Village was use undead to collect apples. Humact Bregan destroy undead and try to kill controller without ask questions. Paladin Lucius make Humact unconscious so we can ask. We learn controller is use magic, is learn this magic from teacher so can do this. We go to village and speak to teacher. Teacher say he not know necromancy is bad for soul of undead but also he say he travel far to find own teacher to learn this magic on purpose. So we kill him. And we have to fight with some other villager who not understand.
As we do this, Links Pride arrive at village. We know Links Pride is very strong against undead also. We leave village and take body of necromancer back to Zhaguar Pride. We try to explain wrong of necromancy but Leader Arjan most concern about loss of apple harvest.
We talk trade and union - Zhaguar Pride not interest in cattle or preserved foods - interest in region was for apple orchard and fresh produce. He say Links Pride will make deal for return of village after have produce for themself.
Because of loss of village, Arjan refuse to return both Pathfinders. So as to provide success for mission and to build union with Pride, Bladesinger Ja’ssin volunteer to stay in Earldom as we know time pass different here so is more good for elf to stay.
To Bladesingers
Return to Roddenberry Earldom. We find no living elves but skeleton of one buried in long grass. It look to me as if have been kill by animal claw. Humact Bregan consecrate them and, while speak with spirit, he think they have die as first magic wave happen. I knew talisman as one from guild so I bring back for to identify them.
We fight and kill human necromancer, which not please Zhaguar Pride and they refuse to return both Pathfinders we find with them. So as to provide success for mission and to build union with Pride, Bladesinger Ja’ssin volunteer to stay in Earldom. Other volunteer was the half-elf Geomancer but we know time pass different here so is more good for elf to stay.
I hope even if Defender delay with next mission, we can demonstrate need to return soon to bring back. Also, Humacts will want to find teacher of necromancer.
